The Best of Lightning Lady

Check out the April edition of Previews magazine and you’ll see the latest offering from Greystone Inn Comics: The Best of Lightning Lady!

This book is the genesis of the Evil Inc comic strip. Consider it “pre-history.”

In case you’re unfamiliar with the tome…

Selected comics from the daily comic strip, “Greystone Inn,” redesigned and reformatted into a continuous graphic novel. “Lightning Lady” tells the story of a recovering super-villain who goes to Evil Anonymous meetings (because “You don’t stop being evil, you just stop aiming death rays at people”). The story heats up when she meets her new boyfriend at San Diego Comic Con — a man who is anything but what he appears to be.

And, thanks to my good friend over at Diamond Distribution, the Lightning Lady book is Certified Cool.

Here’s the thing. Getting into Previews is one thing, but now I need retailers to know what it is and where it is. Most importantly, though, they need to know that there’s a demand for it. You guys stepped up strong last time, and I’m asking for the same thing this time.

Attention henchmen, lackeys, goons, and thugs: Standby for post-hypnotic suggestion. Why don’t you pass the time with a game of solitaire?

You will go to your comic shop or bookstore.
You will ask for Lightning Lady by name.
You will point it out on Page 305 in April Previews.
You will request it.
Clamor for it.
Beg for it.
You will not feel complete until you see it shining on the shelf of your local comic shop.

Thank you. You’re the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life.
