How do I negotiate a Price?

It's one of the great Good News/Bad News situations in independent comics: Someone wants to buy your work! That's wonderful! But... how do you determine a price?! Every once in a while, you'll find yourself in a situation in which you need to name a price for your work. Perhaps it's a piece of original art that someone wants to buy. Perhaps a textbook publisher wants to use your comic to illustrate a point. Or maybe a video streamer wants to use your illustrations as interstitial images on their presentation.
