Hey Comics — Kids! The Death of Saturday Morning Cartoons

On yesterday’s drive to school, I told the boys that the CN network was going to discontinue its Vortexx programming starting next Saturday morning — marking the official end of Saturday morning cartoons on network TV.

But, with Cartoon Network, Nick and Disney XD — not to mention Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Xfinity On Demand and a whole host of other options — does this even matter?

To my surprise… it really seemed to.

That discussion gave way to the inevitable topic of Dragonball Z. The boys did their best to explain its attraction to me, but I have to admit, I still just don’t get it.
