With
the announcement that Toho Studios is working on the first Godzilla movie since 2004’s Godzilla: Final Wars, we talk about everything ‘Zilla. We wonder if it will be as good as last year’s Godzilla movie released by Warner Bros — or better. And we list some of our favorite monsters who have fought against and alongside the Big G.
Show notes
I think I had it exactly backwards. The Toho Godzilla movie is slated for
2016, and the Warner Bros sequel to
its Godzilla franchise is planned for
2018.
I’ve had a lifelong fascination with Godzilla.
This Evil Inc blog post recaps some memorable cameos of the monster in my comics.
In 2000, on the eve of Toho’s Godzilla: 2000, the
Philadelphia Daily News published this
commemorative poster of Godzilla that I created. It includes a filmography, trivia, monsters and more.

We never did get around to discussing our favorite Christmas movie, so I know what we’ll be talking about tomorrow!
