The #GuigarChristmasCountdown Rolls On
Every day until Christmas, I’m releasing a brand-new holiday single-panel gag — and this year’s batch has already included:
- Overworked elves
- Malfunctioning snowmen
- Questionable reindeer behavior
- And Santas who are absolutely phoning it in

Hailey: “Come on, Rose! This is a big opportunity for me! Just tell me what Cap’s ‘usual’ is!”

Rose (from inside the storage closet): “Fine. He loves chicken soup — extra crackers — and a tall lemonade.”

Rose: “Say… do you think you could open the door now? There’s not much air in here.”

Hailey: “If you look in the corner, you’ll see an old battle ax.”

Hailey: “There’s no battle ax in— Oh.”

Now that the Marvel Phase 3 movies have been announced, how do the Guigar boys see the future? Bright, indeed. With a lineup that includes Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and The Inhumans(!), it looks as if we’re going to be in for a wild ride! PLUS, Civil War is confirmed as the storyline for Captain America 3, AND the finale of the Avengers trilogy is now being delivered in two movies. So guess it’s not a trilogy anymore.
Oh, and squirrels.
