It’s October, and you know what that means — Halloween!
On our drive to school today, the boys and I discuss their plans for making Halloween costumes — and our upcoming Halloween party.
Max is showing his D&D fandom with plans for a Dragonborn look, and our resident Whovian Alex is planning to build a Dalek costume. Then, we move on to a conversation about my appearance on the Black Tribbles podcast last night. One of the many topics we discussed was casting for the upcoming Dr. Strange movie. We agreed that if it couldn’t be me, it should be a certain actor that — sadly — has not been discussed yet. When you hear the reaction when I drop the man’s name, you’ll agree, it’s can’t-miss casting. Here’s a hint: He wouldn’t have to give up his PhD. Cassie Cruz (narrating): As a top-tier mind-controller with dementia, my mom keeps reliving the past — and pulling innocent people into her world!

Cassie Cruz (narrating): Last week, an orderly forgot to turn on his neuro-dampener last week. Before anyone knew it, he was reenacting a battle between Mom and Hijinx.
Jeremy: Was Hijinx a hero she used to fight?

Cassie Cruz (narrating): Worse. It was a villain she had a rivalry with.
Princess Charming: I wish I could be like you. It must be so freeing not to stress over every little pound!

Cassie Cruz (narrating): The poor guy has been in counseling ever since!
Orderly: I mean… I thought I looked cute in bangs!
