The City So Nice They Named It Twice…
I’ve got two trips to the Big Apple in the next few days, and I’m major-league excited about both.
First, I head out tomorrow to tape the Superfan Roundtable — a show dedicated to the popular Howard Stern Morning Show on Sirius Satellite Radio. You can hear me Thursday at 7 p.m. EST on channel 101.
Then Friday, I’m back in New York for the New York Comic Con. It’s at the Javitts Center Friday through Sunday.
Saturday night, after the con, I’m headed out to Stitch with iFanboy, ROFLcon, 1Up and Popgun for drinks and laughs. In that order. This event is open to everyone, so come out and party with some of the coolest people in comics. And me.
Sunday at 1 p.m., I’ll be sitting in on a panel about doing newspaper-style comic strips. Come hear me and Chris Eliopoulos, Chris Giarusso, Danielle Corsetto and Tom Wilson discuss the finer details of creating comic strip. 1-2 p.m., Room 1A15.
All weekend, I’ll be at my booth in the Small Press area — booth number 2442 — exhibiting under the Evil Inc flag. And, to sweeten the deal, my pal Scott Kurtz will be making a rare East Coast appearance as he hangs out at the Penny Arcade table.
I’ll have copies of all three Evil Inc books, as well as the How To Make Webcomics book, sketches and originals. If you want me to bring something specific, drop me a line and let me know.
For the next four days, I’ll be kicking it Guigar Style. Whatever the hell that means.
